Arrested for laughing  因笑被捕

語言和文化不同的國家人民之間，常常不易明白彼此的笑話。下面一則笑話，註明是發生在英國的真實故事，我初看也不完全了解，多看兩遍，就明白了。

我只翻譯其中關鍵的三句廣告詞，相信大家都能領悟其好笑之處。

*.Arrested for laughing*⁉️ 

_"This is from an actual trial in the UK."_

A young woman who was several months pregnant was sitting in a bus. 

When she noticed a young man smiling at her, she began feeling uncomfortable due to her condition. 

She changed her seat and the man seemed more amused. 

She moved again and the man laughed even more!

She filed a court case against him. 

But in court, the mans defence was :

When the lady boarded the bus I couldnt help noticing that she was pregnant. 

She then sat under a movie ad which read "Coming Soon- The creature from Hell!"

I was even more amused when she moved and sat under a female deoderant advertisement, 

which read : "The love stick did the trick"... 譯：愛棒搞出的花樣

Then I completely lost it when she moved a third time under an advert for tyres which read : "Dunlop Rubber would have prevented this accident". 

譯：Dunlop Rubber (Dunlop 可能是輪胎牌名, 但是 rubber 也可能指安全套) 本可防止這意外。

The case was dismissed because the judge fell off his chair laughing ! 😂😂😂.

註釋：would have 本來可以做而不曾做 You would have prevented this incident.

             Should have 應該做而不曾作 例：You should have gotten up early.

             Should not have 不應該作而做了 You should not have spent so much for me.

             Would have, should have, should not have 都指過去能夠發生或做、應該做/     

              發生和不應做或發生的事物情況。
