A blog Houses a bunch of unleashed pit bull.
I got to make a confession here. I am not a courteous blogger.
I have been surfing for fun and trying to kill my time
in the China Time blog. Often time I appreciated those blogger
who gave me a pleasure of relaxation a moment of day dreaming
fantasying my self in the past of historical events. I do not like
to live that kind of life like an old man.
Then one day, I dropped in 黃創夏blog and enjoyed reading his
article. Suddenly I confronted his malicious article attacking
蔣介石是惡靈 http://blog.udn.com/mikkyhan/1433519
That shattered my belief that that a Chinese historical figure,
respected by most Chinese and the world
over was lynched by this blogger. I was furious and considered
that article was in fact a 鞭屍. I sent my response with resentment.
A few months later I again came across 黃創夏's article addressing
蔣介石 being a ghost. Of course its his freedom of speech. I just
felt uncomfortable to this kind of approach. In my weekly
acquaintance with my American friends Bob and Prof. S.
we occasionally touched the subject of Sino-Japanese War.
No one used the expression of 惡靈 or ghost to be-little
蔣介石 for his historical accomplishment toward Chinese
people. I was apt to believe that that guy 黃創夏 must be full of
hatred or his cancer cell were spread to his brain.
I admit that comment might be a little bit of harsh on him.
But deep from the bottom of my heart I believe the basic value
of Chinese traditional culture; i.e. maintain basic respect toward
the senior and the deceased. You can have your point of view from
historical perspective on his merit and demerit.
Well, I responded with this kind of mixed feeling. That Response
must offend him profoundly. He unleashed his pit bull maliciously
attacking me day in and day out. I am sure that the blogger knows
what happened in his blog and he intended to leave those pit bulls
unattended and attacking blogger. In the States, any one can shot
unleashed pit bull. That was the law. One pit bull was shot & killed
in Mariposa County park by a young kid's father. The pit bull used
to belong to my tenant Glen Amundsen who used to leash him around
the motel.
From practical point of view, any blogger has full right of freedom
in his articles. It is my presumption that some blogger houses those
pit bulls to protect his privacy of independent blog intentionally.
To any hostile blogger with offending responses, the blogger will just
unleash those pit bulls to bark & protect his blog by means of malicious
name calling and all kind of dirty tricks. That is why I saw a lot of nice
blogger with good response were gradually leaving his blog and the
pit bulls kept them away from getting closer. I think that that the
blogger once became famed blog enjoyed a massive Internet clicks
in China Times has blown him/her self out of proportion. The blogger
tends to indulge in him/her self in a stage of massive gathered crowds
enjoy the "Yelling of Crowd" but forget who he/she is. They will find
that is an addiction and it will be cooled and phased out in a matter of
time.
After all, no thing last forever.
