膽固醇驚恐族, ? 每天三杯柳橙汁OK  
 
 
心臟腦血管疾病, 擔心也沒用, 為了生活打拼, 那有時間上健身房?

加拿大的研究人員發表,在最近的美國心臟病學會的文章表示, 高膽固醇者每天喝三杯的柳橙汁, 一個月之後好的膽固醇提高(HDL)21%, 而LDL和HDL的比例下降了16%, 表現出體內的膽固醇狀況已經獲得改善, 壞的膽固醇減少, 好的膽固醇增加, 得到心血管疾病的機會降低。

而柳橙汁中的葉酸成份很高, 葉酸能降低體內的 homocysteine 同半胱氨酸的量, 同半胱氨酸已知是心臟病的一個危險指標, 因此多喝柳橙汁的保健功效顯著。

研究人員 Dr Kurowska向媒體表示, 他認為是柳橙汁中有一種抗氧化劑稱之為hesperidin 生物黃酮造成的效果, 他們接下來將會試驗葡萄汁對於膽固醇的效果, 看看有何不同, 讓我們拭目以待!

The finding is that people with high cholesterol increase their HDL 21% and decrease LDL and HDL by 16% if they drink 3 glasses of orange juice daily for a month. In other words, it shows that bad cholesterol reduces and good cholesterol rises. Thus, it lowers people chances to be susceptible to cardiovascular disease.

There is high percentage of folic acid in orange juice. Folic acid is able to lower homocysteine. Homocysteine is a heart illness risk indicator. Therefore, drinking more orange juice help us stay healthy.

Researcher Dr. Kurowska shares with the media that an antioxidant called hesperidin (found in orange juice) makes it possible to fend off heart illness. Next, they are going to test the effect of grape juice on cholesterol level in human bodies. Let*s anticipate seeing the difference between the two (orange and grape juice).
