(Retiredbum notes: Are those RMB of new prints for real? Recently I just read an article saying the the biggest denomination of RMB paper currency has the least face value comparing with that of other major economies, and ordinary people of Mainland China still have strong propensity for using cash, instead of credit means, in purchasing, even on the commodities of huge value, e.g. BMWs, houses. The article also said one of the reasons for China not issuing paper currency of a value bigger than RMB100.00 is to prevent easier act of bribery. Remember Taiwan has a paper currency of TWD2,000.00? It is said the purpose for such a issuance is for Mrs. Chen Shui-bian to take bribery more conveniently. Anyway, I think the veracity of this information should be further ascertained.)
