Who is 武鄉侯? It's Zhuge Liang. Who is 王朗? It's a high-ranking official of late (East) Han and early Wei. In chapter 93 of that historical novel "Stories of Three Kingdoms", vividly described how did Zhuge vehemently abuse Wang on battlefield prior to the army of Shu Han and Wei fought each other in a campaign. Quoted below was reputedly what Zhuge said to Wang: "吾素知汝所行:世居東海之濱,初舉孝廉入仕;理合匡君輔国,安漢興劉;何期反助逆賊,同謀篡位!罪惡深重,天地不容!天下之人,願食汝肉!今幸天意不絕炎漢,昭烈皇帝繼統西川。吾今奉嗣君之旨,興師討賊。汝既為諂諛之臣,只可潛身縮首,苟圖衣食;安敢在行伍之前,妄稱天數耶!皓首匹夫!蒼髯老賊!汝即日將歸于九泉之下,何面目見二十四帝乎!老賊速退!可教反臣与吾共决勝負!” The novel said no sooner Zhuge finished the stream of invective than Wang screamed out with indignation and dropped dead from his horse, died at 76. Despite objection from China's Mainland, that Wonky Cai insisted on appointing Scraps Song as the delegate to attend the forthcoming APEC at Lima, Peru. Song, a political chameleon also at 76, should read subject paragraph again and make some introspection himself lest he have no face to see his master Chiang Ching-Kuo someday. (Chiang was a Dutai; but at least he regarded himself as a Chinese.) P.S. I think China's Mainland will decline the appointment and force Peru to shut Taiwan out should Cai refuse to give in and replace Song with someone else. After all, it's hard to think an important meeting like APEC could be held without China. |
