The other day, EU announced that it agreed to use the so-called "European Peace Fund" to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons worth 450 million euros, as well as 50 million euros of other assistance, such as fuel and protective equipment, totaling 500 million euros. EU said almost all of this "peace fund can spend this year", and its leaders called the move a "watershed" in history, and "this war requires our intervention".

The withdrawal to buy lethal weapons for Ukraine from a "Peace Fund"?  It is so ironical.

PS Religious discord has always been playing a pivotal role in western history.  You know, almost all the people in western European countries are Protestants or Catholics, while people of Russia, Belarus, and eastern parts of Ukraine are believers of Orthodox Church.  Due to historical reason, most people of western parts of Ukraine are Catholics, and that is part of the reason that Ukrainians are hard to get along within one country.  

Thanks to Heaven, ordinary people of Taiwan and Mainland believe in polytheism.  They worship Guanyin and Guangong, and they do not exclude other people from believing other religions from abroad.  Chinese people are pragmatists, in the long run they can tolerate different ideology within, but they cannot stand turmoil and famine whether from within or from outside.
