南州溽暑醉如酒，In the sweltering summer, as drowsy as drunk down I lie.

隱几熟眠開北牖。Leaning on the desk, I slumber with windows open wide.

日午獨覺無餘聲，Awaking at noon, no sound could be heard.

山童隔竹敲茶臼。But the pestle on tea out of the bamboo aside. 

PS. It is mid autumn now, but we are still suffering from Indian summer here in Taiwan!
