五十八年貧賤身， For fifty-eight years Ive grown in poverty ;

何曾妄念洛陽春？ How could I covet the peonies of vanity?

不然豈少胭脂在， Have no rouge to add to their elegance?

富貴花將墨寫神。  I use ink to enrich the flowers of nobility.
