On the first day of July, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-river channel, or the Lingding Bridge, was inaugurated. Why the Lingding? I think it must be associated with that tragic historical event that happened at the end of the Song Dynasty. Please see my previous translation of the poem that illustrates the story untold.
