PS. Yesterday, my daughter and her husband hosted a birthday party for my second granddaughter at some park. At the event, I met a middle-aged guy from Inland China who had been in Taiwan not long ago. He told me that the most impressive observation of Taipei was "its glory used to be." Well, you know what he meant.
