Tai Tzu-ying was trounced by Jap Akane Yamaguchi yesterday in women single of 2021 World Badminton Championship, and she missed another chance to win a world title in major tournaments, again.  

Tai had been long holding the number one in world ranking and just won the best women player award of 2021 the other day.  So, the title less status would have made the "queen", as well as her fans, feel embarrassed. 

By the way, I hate to see Tai lost to Yamaguchi, albeit I admire the stamina and combatant spirit that plain-looking Jap woman was demonstrating in the game.
