Among NBA teams today, I love to watch to Brooklyn Nets play mostly because of its superstar Kevin Durant. You know I always admire tall but nimble, skilled player like Durant, same as that guard-like center Hakeem Olajawon used to be with Houston Rockets. (In the past I was a fan to Rockets because of Olajuwon, not because of Yao Ming.) Last season Durant could have got a championship for Nets, with the help from another two superstars: James Harden and Kyrie Irving. But he failed most due to unexpected injury from Harden and Irving in the playoffs. This season the club still has chance to win a title, but that Kyrie Irving refuses to receive COVID shots, and he is thus not allowed to play in New York either in the home court of Nets or in the guest court of Knicks. Can I say Kyrie Irving is an oddball, a man of self-aggrandizement? Then impatient James Harden, who has been longing to wear a championship ring on his finger, sought to join another prospective team and he did. He was traded to Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers in exchange of another oddball Ben Simmons. Simmons had been unhappy with Sixers and refused to play for the club this season; report said up to date he had been fined seventeen million dollars for his absence. Poor Kevin Durant, he must play with a pair of time bombs for the rest of the season. Let us see what will happen to Brooklyn.
