The computer I am using now here in the States is assembled by my son, piece by piece.  So, the web portal pops out when I turn on the computer is a local one. (I have no idea it is Yahoo, Google, or anything else.)  Anyway, the information on the portal is all related to the U.S., gossips, sports, politics, and so on.  Since I got back in late June, I have been aware that almost always there must be at least a piece of articles regarding China on the front page every day. Most of them are China-adverse reports, and I think that reflects the anti-China ambience now in America. 

Today I found the attached NBC editorial which seems to me an unbiased report toward the recent measures China is taking to address some serious problems of social imparity: in short, China is trying to redistribute her growing national wealth and mapping out the ways to avoid the widening gap between poor and rich.
