鹿畏貙，貙畏虎，虎畏羆。羆之狀，被髮人立，絕有力而甚害人焉。

Deers fear bobcats; bobcats fear tigers; and tigers fear grizzly bears.  Grizzly bears have long hair and can stand on their rear feet like human.  With its almighty strength, a grizzly bear is a real threat to human.  

楚之南有獵者，能吹竹為百獸之音。寂寂持弓矢罌火，而即之山，為鹿鳴以惑其類，伺其至，發火而射之。貙聞其鹿也，趨而至。其人恐，因為虎而駭之。貙走而虎至，愈恐，則又為羆，虎亦亡去。羆聞而求其類，至，則人也。捽搏挽裂而食之。 

In the soutern part of Chu there was a hunter capable of mimicking the sounds of all kinds of beast by blowing his bamboo-made flute.  One day when all were quiet, he carried his bow, arrows, and a vessel of explosive up to the mountain.  He imitated the sound of deer so as to puzzle and lure herd of deer to come, then he could fire the explosive to kill.  But a bobcat heard of the sound of deer and also came to stalk its prey.  The frightened hunter then imitated the roar of tiger and scared the bobcat away, but in turn the sound allured a tiger into the site.  It scared the hunter even to death, so he made imatation sound to invite a grizzly bear to come, and this time the tigher was running away scared .  The grizzly bear thought the sound was signaled by its mate, but when it found there was no other bear but a human, so it grabbed the hunter, slugged him and tore him apart to death, and then ate him.   

今夫不善內而恃外者，未有不為羆之食也。

Now those who fail to manage their internal affairs well, but try to rely on the help from outside only, will eventualy become the meal of a grizzly bear!
