螺螄粉

In my previous writing "他從舌尖上的中國談到傳統與現代" (https://blog.udn.com/kkuo0810/109951264), I attached an article in which the author gives an indepth account about the relation of modern Chinese food with modern Chinese societies.  The very first one the author introduced is 螺螄粉, a kind of instant noodle from Guangxi, especially of Liuzhou.

Ive known the food long before I read the article.  It is made of various dehydrated vegetables, peanuts, rice noodles, and condiments including a particularly spicy sauce.  Well, it tastes good, and I think it deserves the title " titbit of the proletariat".

Ill go back to Taiwan this weekend.  I dont know whether I can find the noodle there, so I bought two packs with me. (two for $5)
