This applies likewise in the case of the priest Jibu-bo. Though he himself is like the wisteria vine, because he clings to the pine that is the Lotus Sutra, he is able to ascend the mountain of perfect enlightenment.

一株紫藤，它牽蟠著鬆樹，盡可能爬上天空幾千哩高，像紅鶴亦是，它可倚賴鬆樹枝頭依膝，所以翅膀可飛翔遙遠目的。 這並不是靠它們本身的力量達成。
原理，治部房憎人，他就像紫藤，攀附高大鬆樹， 就是法華經，他可攀上高山頂峰，妙覺悟領。
