6. No Homework: MS students should not have been assigned homework for completion over the break. The break is an opportunity for students to rest, recover and restore their energy in preparation for the second half of the semester. The only exceptions are: if a student has work that should have already been completed but was not submitted; if a student left early (or will return late), she/he is responsible for making up the work days missed. As is always the case, students are encouraged to read books of their own choosing, practice speaking and listening to any language studied, and remain physically active wherever they spend the holidays.
