New LIFE 
    We gaze at the stars in wonderment 
But when the light of the sun shines upon them 
    We feel disappointed when they fade
              into nothingness      
We smile at the glistening dewdrops on the grass
   But as the warmth of the sun embraces 
             the precious jewels 
We may be sad when they are drawn into 
          the void of non-existence 
  We dwell on thoughts, ideas and ambitions 
 But when Oneness shines its Light upon them
  They fade as the stars and dissipate as 
               the morning dew 
    We may be bewildered at first without 
       our usual complications of life  
    But when we find we are able to gaze at 
               the true Beauty 
       And smile at the all-encompassing 
               oneness of Love 
We rest peacefully in the arms of the Beloved
