Dear Hubby,
Ever since I started blogging, you have been complaining of my hogging the computer as much as I have been complaining of your hogging the comforter.
When I forwarded that “get lucky” email to you yesterday, you commented that whoever actually forwarded the mail to 20 people will not “get lucky “, but actually “be stupid”. Well, for your information, I forwarded to 23 people.
Forwarding Emails is just for fun. I want to point out one thing for my own defense: I have more than 23 friends to forward jokes to. How many do you have?”
Then I thought about the joke that another girl friend emailed me.
I decided to modify it a little bit to apply to our marriage.
When we first got married, I lived in a small apartment. I did not own a car.
I slept with a young geek at night. After more than ten years of marriage, I live in a house. I drive a mini van. I sleep with an old fart. But not to worry, I will not trade you for another young geek. Sometimes once is enough in our life.
Here is the joke that my friend forwarded to me.
Subject: 25 YEARS OF MARRIAGE
> When I was married 25 years, I took a look at my wife one day and
said, "Honey, 25 years ago we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on
a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep
every night with a hot 25-year-old blonde."
>
"Now we have a nice house, nice car, big bed and plasma screen TV,
but I'm sleeping with a 50-year-old woman. It seems to me that you are not
holding up your side of things."
hot 25-year-old blonde, and she would make sure that I would once again
be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa
bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV."
