I learned kendo (劍道) when I was younger (in 國中), but gave it up after two years when there were too many other extracurricular activities. I missed it a lot, and often thought about picking up kendo… Aikido 是"合氣道"; it usually does not involve the use of a sword. In fact, there is an old Japanese aikido master near my home in US. He is very interested in teaching anyone (he has a 道館at his home, teaching aikido for free). I may take up his offer when I return home.
In Taiwan, there are many places where you can learn kendo (not sure about aikido). It teaches you agility, concentration, discipline, and the spirit of kenjutsu. Besides, it’s an excellent place to meet 帥哥 (哈哈). You should think about taking up kendo (or aikido). I assure you that you will not regret it!
Echoing loud holiday’s greetings from across the ocean!
