| 2008年6月米國總统布希訪問英國，某日下午，英國女王邀請布希共飲下午茶。
布希趁機請益：女王陛下，您的領導哲學為何？ 女王：與聰明人為伍，身旁都是聰明人。 布希：您怎麼知道您身旁的人都是聰明人呢？ 女王：大哉問呀，不愧是大國(米國)總统‧‧‧我問對的問題，他們若答對，自然就是聰明。 布希：大哉答呀，不愧是女王陛下，但什麼是對的問題呢？ 女王：請容我舉個例子吧。 女王拿起iPhone(比大俠還流行呢)，撥電話給布萊爾，說：總理先生，請您答這個問題：“您的媽媽有一個孩子，您的爸爸也有一個孩子，這孩子不是您的兄弟、也不是您的姐妹，這孩子是誰？” 布萊爾想都沒想，答到：是我，女王陛下。 女王：正是，謝謝您布萊爾，再見。 女王掛了iPhone後，說：知道了吧，大國(米國)總统？ 布希喜形於色：是的，女王陛下，非常感謝，我一定會使用的！ 布希總统東方取經回到華府後，決定現學現用，立即將參議院外交委員會主席傑西赫爾姆斯召進白宮，說：赫爾姆斯參議員，你可否回答我一個問題？ 赫爾姆斯：當然可以，總统先生，請問您的問題是啥？ 布希：您的媽媽有一個孩子，您的爸爸也有一個孩子，這孩子不是您的兄弟、也不是您的姐妹，這孩子是誰？ 赫爾姆斯心虛於內：大哉問呀，總统先生，我可以回去仔細考慮後再回覆總统先生嗎？ 布希對赫爾姆斯的慎重其事，甚表贊同滿意。 赫爾姆斯立即召開參議院外交委員會緊急會議，委員們熱烈討論整個下午，但沒有人能想出一個滿意的答案。最後，在無奈之下，赫爾姆斯拿著問題去問國務院總理鮑威爾。 鮑威爾想都沒想，答到：是我嘛，你這大笨驢。 赫爾姆斯立即衝回白宮，面見總统，高興地說：我知道答案了，總统先生！這孩子是鮑威爾！是鮑威爾！ 布希心有不悅：錯了！錯了！你這大笨驢，這孩子是布萊爾！是布萊爾！ @ @ @ @ @ @ 大俠補充：雖然米國總统歐巴馬很賣力、想改變、要改變，也真的改變了米國，凡此，更加令人懷念起上一任的布希總统，尤其是他的智商、英文。。。及伴隨而至的笑譚趣語。 George W. Bush's Intelligence Quiz While visiting England, George W. Bush is invited to tea with the Queen. He asks her what her leadership philosophy is. She says that it is to surround herself with intelligent people. He asks how she knows if they're intelligent. "I do so by asking them the right questions," says the Queen. "Allow me to demonstrate." She phones Tony Blair and says, "Mr. Prime Minister. Please answer this question: Your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or sister. Who is it?" Tony Blair responds, "It's me, ma'am." "Correct. Thank you and good-bye, sir," says the Queen. She hangs up and says, "Did you get that, Mr. Bush?" "Yes ma'am. Thanks a lot. I'll definitely be using that!" Upon returning to Washington, he decides he'd better put the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to the test. He summons Jesse Helms to the White House and says, "Senator Helms, I wonder if you can answer a question for me." "Why, of course, sir. What's on your mind?" "Uh, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother or your sister. Who is it?" Helms hems and haws and finally asks, "Can I think about it and get back to you?" Bush agrees, and Helms leaves. He immediately calls a meeting of other senior senators, and they puzzle over the question for several hours, but nobody can come up with an answer. Finally, in desperation, Helms calls Colin Powell at the State Department and explains his problem. "Now look here Colin Powell, your mother has a child, and your father has a child, and this child is not your brother, or your sister. Who is it?" Powell answers immediately, "It's me, of course, you dumb ass." Much relieved, Helms rushes back to the White House and exclaims, "I know the answer, sir! I know who it is! It's Colin Powell!" And Bush replies in disgust, "Wrong, you dumb ass, It's Tony Blair!" |
