Dear Class Members:

This report is supposed to be the last one before another co-captain takes over the duty of meeting announcement. Five co-captains participated the Tsai-Chi at Japanese garden, only Hsiyann Yu (俞希彥) was absent. However, none of the rest volunteered this job and I was left to continue for another round.

Jennifer Chou (周樺), Sam Hsieh (謝三川), Jean Liao (黃雅靜) and I left

Dynasty Square
about 9:45am after a little bit waiting for Lily Chen (任瑞麗). Amy and Joseph Hsiao (蕭冠英│符黛妮), met us at the parking next to the Sam Houston monument. Wen-Yen Wu (吳文琰) was already in the park. Jerry Yang ( 又徵), Chung Teng (鄧中泰) showed up together and Sunny and Eileen Lin (林三江│劉莉玲) were the last to join us. I and Wen-Yen had sight of a black-eyed white rabbit in the bushes. Mom duck and her dozen siblings were strolling on the water. We had Chi pickup in between tall pine and bamboo trees. Several of us stood barefooted on the grass doing Tsai-Chi. It was a relaxing atmosphere. After this session, we asked Sunny/Eileen couples to share their experience at Sedona with us in a gazebo. They brought back many brochures, maps, pamphlets for Buddha temple, many of their personal adventures and the most importantly the information about the “Vortex”----the high energy spots where may metaphysical phenomena have been registered. Those who failed to join us, you missed another wonderful story. Sunny and Eileen recommended us to visit Sedona in spring or autumn. We likely fly to Phoenix (~$300 plane fare) and drive two hours to the destination. It appears hard to gather a large group to go together, so likely we will form small groups to visit there in several batches. I will post who will be going this Oct-Nov.

We got new consensus about the meeting schedule in the future. The activity will be bi-weekly from now on with either group exercise/Chi pickup or seminar/discussion forum. I appreciate everyone’s support and persistence in attending.
