................................. 8/13/2025 searched [8/12/2025 does MS kill win10 which upgraded to win 11 by manufacture then sold to user in 2024 ?] To understand the implications of Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 after an upgrade to Windows 11, consider the following points: Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. --does ended support means end service (ie killed win10, notebook totally died, even if it can turn on that became very busy disallow you create/modified data files...) or not ? if MS just stop update that would be wonderful and 那真的是梦寐以求 求之不得 Devices upgraded to Windows 11 will continue to receive updates and support as per Microsofts schedule. --after win10 notebook made me exhausted i wont try to stop updated on win11(10) any more, only wish can off line working on data files, no more requested. If a device is sold with Windows 11 pre-installed, it will be supported as long as it meets the system requirements. Users should verify the upgrade eligibility of their devices before purchasing. --searched [what is win 11 system requirements]? i deeply suspect it is not win11 but win 12 system requirements as white mice. any upgraded to win11 meets the system requirements like mine has 8MB ram as minimal required for win 11. Regular updates and security patches will be crucial for maintaining device security post-upgrade. Users should stay informed about Microsofts support lifecycle for both Windows 10 and Windows 11. ................................... 8/12/2025 during MS updated screen turn into black (not sure already updated finish or not because didnt see [updated need to restart ]) , power off and turn on, can see [windows logo with cursor moving circle (restart ?) then black screen again] ie didnt load windows OS because spouse saw only once it popped message: failed loading windows xxx (O.S?), do you want to recover ? spouse clicked YES then turned black again. power off then turn on several times didnt have any changes so turned off. then spouse notebook also popped up windows updated to restart, it sucessfully (spouse notebook is win11). so turned on my notebook again hoping it works but no lucky, i did leave it power on 2-3 hours cant see any change (looks like it stop totally, not perform any task) so turned off and searched to find posters solution. then try to turn on but found out the power light flashing didnt really power off that immediately felt same horrible nightmares happened to my previous win10(spouse helped me to upgraded to win11 already) cant really power off the notebook (or maliciously auto turn on performing no ending updated). thats why searched to verify whether it is the similar case to kill my a bit over 1 year old 2nd notebook. what exactly so important to update, beginning to terminate win11(10) , or for win12 as free white mice lab testing to impose on pity win 11(10) users again ? no wonder got very bad problems one by one since killed our C3700 router on 7/28 1:30-2:00am. ps Black Screen after Windows Update in Windows 11 .... 3. a key combination to wake up your display In Microsoft Windows operating system, you can wake up your display by using the Win + Ctrl + Shift + B key combination. Use this key combination and see if it helps..... --this is i tried to do but suspend due to power light flashed cant turn off at all. 4. your display is black, you have to interfere with the normal startup process in Windows to enter the Recovery Environment. To do so, press and hold the power button to force shut down your computer. After that, turn it on again. Click Troubleshoot. Click Advanced options again. Now, click Command Prompt. C:\ Now, run SFC and DISM scans. After that, type exit in the Command Prompt and hit Enter to close it. Now, click Continue to restart your computer. This should fix the issue. 5. update your display adapter 8/14/2025 UPDATED Tried all posters suggestions but wont fix black screen deadly problems as usual. more and more users complaints that may force MS extends expire due date (October 14, 2025), some one already sue MS terminate win10, i wish can join the sue case that win10(11) notebook still plugin to keep it alive (too busy and really tired off not yet replace CMOS battery, in case freaky updating continue happen especially nearby win11 due date). (safe mode) wifi not connected : ms-contact-support://?ActivationType=NetworkDiagnostics&invoker=SettingsPageNetworkingsafe shows: the file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. please install an app, if installed create an association in the default apps settings page. ps (troubleshoot Reset this PC Advanced options) uninstall latest feature update -->failed. shows : We ran into a problem, cannnot uninstall the latest update. --PS very likely caused black screen because i did uninstall latest quality update successfully (safe mode) windows settings > window update shows : something went wrong... --PS obviously latest feature update not finished or caused it. settings >Apps > installed apps ps i did see 8/8/2025 installed MS Edge, thinking unistall it, the date is the most nearby black screen. >advanced app settings ps did diable (OFF) share across devices, but not sure whether impact printer device. press F4 or F5 to open Safe Mode. Open Control Panel. Open Programs, then open Uninstall a program. Click View installed updates. Locate and select the update in the list. security update for MS windows (KB5062552) installed 8/14/2025 Click Uninstall. ----> 8/14 9:23am uninstalled. the weird thing my notebook no wifi connection for at least 2 days (8/13-8/14 9:42am called ISP, now still no connection try to solve unknown app or create an association...) how MS KB5062552 can install? does it mean MS not only 天天 24 hours auto update even power off can auto on in win10(11), and now wifi no connection still can update win11(10) on 8/14 ? ............................................. Called ISP because found out my notebook no wifi connection when tried [safe mode with wifi connection] so can force MS helper solving the black screen problem for us as quite old users. it is really pain in ass even spouse cant figure out those heavy accent and talking fast Indian workers. the final male is a bit better but still too fast. lost patient so point out : i am N600 user knew very well new router should provide allowed/blocked device MAC addresses. they were disabled and access control auto unchecked. that is why my notebook cant connect wifi. suspect conflict with the 1 month free Armour which wants 100% control router forbid user make changes especially during conversation allowed/blocked showed up, disappeared repeatedly. then the man tried to convince me no need blocked. by my insist and explains why necessary with his promise wont happen in the future and recover the function. admin also 1st time showing Armour option(can enable/disable). in usa so many serious problems caused by security-so-called to get 100% control people (then the world) nothing else. the key is their workers are lack of knowledge but 自以为是 蓄意惩罚能力强的 (today made me believe it may not ISP but router company or both kill our router/modem C3700 and N600). no wonder such kind designers make usa systems a messy in every field especially MS. usa cant solve problems caused by themselves but black China and force users to buy more and more expensive and extra Armour-like app or pay extra ISP manage fee. why? whoever hackers, dark websites, kill old devices(modem/router, win10, win11(10), soon win11) are came form usa insiders, together they can make huge profits easily. PS so far i wont try [system image recovery] and [change UEFI firmware settings], and very clearly it is MS did (feature update of windows) caused black screen which wont allow uninstall which only MS can solve the problem. a poster mention KBxxx caused black screen, my uninstalled KB5062552 didnt solve black screen. some posters believe graphic-related card, driver caused but if only if can turn on [safe mode] the screen completely no problem at all so definitely not related. searched [virtual machine platform should disable ?] To enhance security and performance, consider disabling the following features on your virtual machine platform: Disable unnecessary virtual machine features that are not in use. ---->8/14 unchecked(disabled) then request restart pc but black screen still not solved. Type chkdsk C: (replace C: with the appropriate drive letter) and press Enter. Look for the "File System" line in the output. It will indicate whether the file system is FAT, FAT32, or NTFS. If needed, use chkdsk /f C: to fix any errors found on the disk. Review the results to confirm the file system type. my mistake as : c:\users\administrator>chkdsk /c PS totally forgot ms dos command but lucky me no damage happened and showing : the type of the file system is xxx, the service cant be started in safe mode. the volume label is xxx warning! /c specified. your drive may still be corrupt even after running chkdsk. ...0 bad file records processed. 0 unindexed files scanned. 0 unindexed files recovered to lost and found. PS stage 3: examining security descriptors... it is new to me ... chkdsk is verifying Usn Journal ... the volume bitmap is incorrect windows has checked the file system and found problems. please run chkdsk /scan to find the problems and queue them to repair. 0 kb in bad sectors ps chkdsk c: the service cant be started in safe mode. the volume is in use by another process. chkdsk might report errors when no corruption is present. /F parameter not specified. running in read-only mode ...scanned no problems, no action required PS it seemed (safe mode) chkdsk still can do a bit to fix bitmap and scan. no guarantee what i done here would no damage to your HD. i have no choice got MS updated caused black screen deadly problem. chkdsk /scan snapshot error occured. run an offline scan and fix. (safe mode disallow) 8/16/2025 to solve my notebook black screen i cant but use spouse s until today modified 8/15 created notepad data file because our investment company system down or maintainence i copied 8/14 to 8/15 then manual edited each stock/mutual fund unit price... then called the company lucky me a man picked up (8/15 around 11pm) in the begining bank website (linked with invesment company) showed the company contact phone number, i thought they cut off relation. so i remind the man must see unit price... after recover their system (8/16). that is why try to modify it because didnt fully but partially informations. After hard working modified then to save, but 1st time failed and popped up the file needs permission or administrator. i did succeed save in external usb storage. spouse always told me dont fight against but let MS do whatever updated. the notepad version is the one i hated the most with weird links all opened files in one (in different tabs). then more data files disappeared or became old version. if same period opened several individual data files. only today showed permission error message. we cant figure out why yesterday created data file, today modified then forbid saved. i did try save another name it wont either. 20 min. ago showed to spouse he did see the error message by his tried but when he saved another name it succeeded. i inquired spouse how the system knowing who uses your pc or a device monitor our talking and pc built in camera(by AI or the psycho) see who is using? ps didnt switch to different account. i told spouse his HD free space much less than mine so i did uninstall [family] and [???] that verified he didnt use them. in the meanwhile windows settings system showed updated 3 hrs ago, this is why cant save another data file name but then spouse can? or i deledted [family] cause the difference? ps searched [notepad datta file requested group or user name but cant add new user?] got poster : Win 10: cant create new user - user data base seems corrupted May 29, 2023 |
