 Bellini, Norma: Bavarian State Opera, Munich, Conductor: Friedrich Haider. 2.2.2008 (BM)  Di lor Pieta ~~ 用歌劇Norma迎向 2005, 2005/1/2 這群外國朋友每年只分得到教堂的小禮拜室做英文彌撒，許多人連英文都講不好，卻在半個島民都歡騰party中時，寧願在這擁擠簡樸的堂中渡過肅穆的一夜，為世界、為所愛的人、而非為自己祈福。 次日，傳來大海嘯的惡耗。 12-31日聽完臺灣諾瑪首演，一群老友首度陪著我家小爺倒數後回家，美姐好意送我們，我提到朱苔麗 第二幕唱「父親請憐憫，憐憫孩子」（ Padre, abbi di lor, di lor Pieta）...By their mercy，懇求父親幫忙收養叛教女兒之子時，兩行淚直流，聲音差點啞去，幾呎之遙的我也感到哽咽。禎妹說預演時已是如此，不免讓人聯想是試圖逃離乳癌陰影的朱老師，自己的感同身受。這當然也是任何母親都感受強烈的一段。 [ 女高音朱苔麗簡介 : http://www.wretch.cc/blog/nsoalbum/444749 ]
而美姐感慨，這年頭寬恕的話說得太少，正巧2004結束時是Norma，2005開始時又有Tempest。 從這樣的觀點來看Norma在台灣首演的意義，撇開嚴格的專業審查，我自覺有幸看到 自己這輩子或許只有一次的Norma現場演出。甚至簡文彬領軍在音樂會和歌手「背對背」的演出 方式，都可以成為未來一段老時信手拈來的台灣歌劇發展奇譚。 Bellini的音樂沒有仔細聆聽，許多細微的旋律鋪陳會在強烈美麗的Aria下被忽略，對我而言，坐在被樂音包圍的現場，有時閉眼凝神，是窮人才有的絕妙享受與學習機會。雖然有奇怪紊亂的服裝設計、還不習慣邊唱邊演的實驗合唱團，與因為特殊演出位置而造成的樂團與歌手間默契的難以完全，我敬佩朱老師與徐以琳老師近於完美的duet，兩人音色上的互補，節奏感與強弱音的搭配，呈現女性在藝術上的和諧，也表達出Bellini把庸俗三角關係昇華至人性掙扎與自我檢視以至於寬恕的意圖。 這位寫時才31歲的早逝世年輕才子藝術家，生前早已自知Norma具有傳世的本質，更應不意外，未來被他感動得涕泗縱橫的，都是群老女人罷！？ 自視甚高的華格納都不得不讚賞那些渾然天成的旋律線，據說他形容，Norma的音樂即便是最頑強的義大利新音樂學派都無法不公平地承認、發自內心地說Norma表達出 作曲家對於欲表達的目標那內在的深切信念（"the most determined opponents of the new Italian school of music do this composition the justice of admitting that, speaking to the heart, it shows an inner earnestness of aim." “"Bellini's music comes from the heart and closely follows the text"）。此外華格納也稱Bellini是「溫柔的西西里人」（the gentle Sicilian）。 猶記巴黎Pierre LaChaise墓園中幾經尋覓才在翻越數個墓塚後，輕觸Bellini孤身矗立、素白而青苔滿佈綠蔭覆蓋的墓碑，比起花圈滿溢的蕭邦，我懷疑，義大利人會不會忘記了他們客死異鄉的才子？ 他35歲在巴黎附近Puteaux避暑時因阿米巴敗血症過世，經羅西尼張羅，葬於此貴族一地難求的大墓園，11部歌劇作品刻於石碑四面。 沒有藝術、文學，人類恐怕真會在無謂的種族民族宗教對立中浪費短暫一生，更無法、也無力面對大自然無時無刻對我們破壞地球的"原罪"所做的反撲！ 聖潔的女神(Norma) Casta Diva by Callas Casta Diva, casta Diva, che inargenti Queste sacre queste sacre, queste sacre antiche piante A noi volgi il bel sembiante; A noi volgi, a noi volgi il bel sembi-ante, il bel sembianteSenza nube e senza vel!Tempra tu de' cori ardenti!Tempra ancor lo zelo andace!Spargi in terra quella pace,Che regnar tu fai nel Ciel.
