TODAY IS REALLY AN AMAZING DAY!!! today I woke up at 5:30am because I wanted to chat with my girlfriend in Taiwan but then my room mates told me there was a soccer game at 7:00am, Argentina v.s German and fitness center have television so first I found my girlfriend online at 6:30a.m I chatted with her until 7:00a.m my girlfriend is also a soccer fanatic she also wanted to watched the game so I brought my laptop to the fitness center chatting with her and watching the game at the same time ......I'll type the detail later...... ......terrible brunch...... then we start off at 11:00am first we went to Stanford University it is so beautiful and magnificent
Hoover Tower and when I went to their bookstore I fell in love with the university there have so many books in the bookstore I want to study here!!! but how hard should I work to enter such a great college? whatever, just work hard now then we'll find out if I can make it or not in the future then...... I'm going to tell you the most exciting thing that happened today we went to Tesla's exhibition of 100% electrical cars
the cars are so cool and they're all roadsters then there was a narrator who looks like a super star came out to give us an interpretation about the electric cars I believe he is not just a narrator he should be the CEO of Tesla or some kind like that I'll tell you why later he spoke very fast and fluently introduced the aim of their enterprise he said they have created the 100% electric cars not only to produce many of them and sell them to all the people in the world but also want to prove that "we can do it" before Tesla, lots of people didn't believe the 100% electric car but Tesla subvert their thought even though the cars are still expensive now, (he said it's 150 thousands in average) seldom people can afford it but he made an example on cell phone he asked us:"what's the price of the first cell phone in the world?" nobody knows then he said:"fourty thousands!"
"and how much does it cost now? maybe zero!" he means that Tesla is just the begining it will have more development in the future something like that, I forgot the detail then he keep on told us many things about the car
I think I can understood 85%
when he finished he asked if we have any question about the car but nobody had any question then he said: "wow, everyone knows well about the car!" "that makes my job easier!" it didn't sounds like praise! I think he is unhappy at that time then we keep looking around and took some pictures and I noticed that every 100% electric cars made by Tesla have been created with roadster I was curious so I asked the narrator "why all the 100% electric cars are made with roadster type?" "Is their any aim of it?" then he answered me "The roadster is our latest idea. We want to produce all our cars with roadster now." "Our next idea won't come out until 2012." ......everybody keep taking pictures in a sample car...... here comes the most exciting part the narrator came and asked us a question "Who knows what's the maximum speed of the car? If you know, raise your hand." ......DEAD SILENCE!!...... no one there knows the answer, including some Americans I vaguely remember the numbers...... I'm so nervous his back was turned on me I can't hold it's my chance!!! then my mouth squeeze out with two words "TWO FOURTY " then he turned back and faced to us, and said "Who said that?" I raised my hand nervously then he said: "that's the correct answer! you've got a chance to take a ride with me! follow me!"
when he said that, every one there exclaimed in surprise that sound really cheer me up I don't know how to explain that feeling great! happy! amazing! magnificent! awesome! cool! HAHA
the speed was so fast and I was too excited that I forgot to take a picture in the car, I ask him "Is this your car?" then he said "Yes. One of mine." "How much does it cost?" "about 200 thousands dolllars"(approximately six millions NT dollars) I was astonished by the figures how can a man being so rich! and he's just infront of me that's why I said he is not just a narrator then he took me went around the street and brought me back in the end though it's too bad that I didn't took any single picture I was too nervous and stupid...... but it's really a greatest experience for me ...... |
