依親哀

多少苦!

雖苦也搬家!

飛雪欲阻去處路，

稚孫牽手求留下，

老鴉枝頭聒。

來因笑臉邀，

去因長臉垮。

來時未端陽，

現時逾臘八。

小兒今日雖願迎，

或因無妻亦無家。

他年將是何情景，

怎敢去想他。

父母疼兒勝心肝，

兒孫敬老似管家。

可憐老妻猶擔心：

春花無人種。

秋葉何人耙？

菜園將荒蕪。

親友會笑話。

嬌孫放學守孤獨。

蠢兒下班忙煎炸。

何必呀老媽?

何其放不下!

現在這首詩

在這裡又再度曝光。

被刪的原因是

有一天讀者忽然爆了量。

寫詩與讀詩

在這個世界裡都是冷門事。

老小子寫的詩

更是凍門中的一支小冰枝。

讀者不正常增量，

著實讓我驚慌。

不知如何是好，

急忙先把它隱藏。

後來細思如果此詩

繼續曝光的得失：

一方面是怕別人誤會

此詩是在自暴自傷。

如此會使自家人

無辜而受傷。*

另方面是怕別人誤會

此詩是在戳他人的傷。

如此會使他人家

無故而再受傷。

詩人不是專事

寫自己門內的事。

老小子那有那麼多的事

值得以詩傳世。

當然也不願特事

寫那一家子的事。

如此豈不是有點多事；

無事找事惹事。

此地有銀三百兩！

王二張三均不傷！

一丁點的刺激，

一瞬間的感觸，

長時期的觀察，

多方面的忖度，

單獨或相互交融，

都可能促成

一首小詩或歪詩成型。

顧前顧後，

顧左顧右，

畏首畏尾，

畏謗畏毀，

如果你無法擺脫，

都可能决定：

一詩無成，

一事無成。

並不想存心褒貶。

有時是很難忍

一吐為快，仗義直言。

更不想揚名立萬。

此等詩在此地

何人願看，幾人能見。

只是敝帚自珍，

覺得丟棄了可惜。

因此把它找出

不恥於再貼在這裡。

我寫我思路，

我行我素。

笑駡或榮辱，

何須多顧？

 
倘若能藉此詩

教育天下兒女

都識一個孝字

或將不虛此事。

須知‘百善孝為先’

大部份宗教、社会，

都奉為準行、箴言。

你每日求天拜神，

卻對家中雙親

欠尊少仁，

天神怎麼樣會賜福

給你這樣的人？

*老小子確有搬出兒家的經歷。

那是因為兒媳離異房子歸媳，

不便續住而堅持搬出。

他們都是孝敬之人。

我們至今和睦相處。

The Pains of the Dependent Parents *

What a bitterness!

Anyway, we must move away!

Flying snow blocks the road, which we’ll go.

Our little grandson drags our hands, begs us to stay.

An old crow caws in a tree.

We came because they invited us with smiling faces.

We go because they treated us with stern faces.

That year, we hurriedly came, it was before May-Fifth.*

Today, we lingeringly go, it is after December-Eighth.*

Our younger son promised to pick us up half an hour later.

Perhaps it’s because he has neither a wife nor a house.

How will they treat us, in the future?

I dare not to think of it -- not now.

Parents love their children more than their own hearts and livers.

Children love their parents more like their old housekeepers.

What a sorrow, my wife still worries:

In spring no one will plant flowers.

Who will rake the leaves in autumn?

The vegetable garden will grow tall grass.

Relatives and friends will laugh at us loud.

Our helpless grandson must endure loneliness after school.

Our heartless elder son must cook supper back from store.

Why can’t the old mother

Forget them – altogether?
