詩人的悲歎與欣願 

失敗休怪環境壞，
勝利可提出身低。
一個是颇不光彩，
一個是很了不起。

中國有幸，
自鄧小平起：
歷經三代英主，
無論武力、經濟；
不是世界第二，
就是環球第一。

吾民不幸，
自新朝代起：
偉大的開國君主，
卻極殘酷、暴戾。
不是史上無二，
就是天下數一。

國共內戰期間，
多少同胞人頭落地，
全無仁心正義，
是不可忘记，

不可原諒的！

一方戰勝了，
續使無辜人頭落地，
亦為己身私利，
更是不可忘记，

不可原諒的！

詩人寫詩：
既可以讚花詠月，
也可以撫情理氣。

惟薄紙包不住怒火，
歎白粉改不了黑皮，
薄墨填不平刻痕，
白药治不好心疾。

期他年的暴亂
可以借鑑。
祈今日的成績
得以珍惜。

勿再有改朝換代，
殺伐、迫害、困苦、流離。

願永遠保持現狀，
和平、繁榮、幸福、安逸。

A Poet’s Oh’s and Hopes*

It’s a shame

to blame the unfair weather,

if you are a loser.

It’s a honor

to regard your humble father,

if you are a winner.

Our new country is lucky:

after three brilliant leaders,

the economic and military power

are among the best of the world.

But our people are unlucky:

the ruthless founding ruler

was among the worst

in the history of the world.

During the civil war,

countless of our compatriots

lost their dear lives.

It was totally justiceless.

This is unforgettable.

It is unforgivable!

After one side won,

more of our innocent people

lost their lives as well,

all for the ruler’s selfishness.

This is more unforgettable!

It is most unforgivable!!

As a positive poetaster,

not only can I adore the flowers,

also can adjust my feelings

and abate my furies.

However, a thin paper
can’t wrap up a furious fire.
Merely the white powder
can’t cover up the black color.

Some thin ink

can’t smooth the cut mark.

Any kind of herb

can’t help a broken heart!

I hope the past error

can be a present mirror,

and the present effort

can be cared as a merit.

No more regime changing,

battling and slaughtering.

No longer persecuting,

capturing and torturing.

Forever keep a state,

peaceful and easeful.

Eternally enjoy a life,

bountiful and beautiful.
