日本鬼子來了！

共產黨來了！

有些人同樣會，

戰慄而唸叨。

像是天要塌下來。

一切都會被壓倒。

也像是水火要來，

一切都會被吞掉！

小孩不敢再哭。

大人不再笑。

鬼整夜哭。

狗日夜號！

*這是一首舊詩，

記錄一時的感觸。

日本鬼子先來，

共產黨徒跟著腳步。

日本鬼子被趕跑了，

共產黨徒勝利而落了戶。

殘暴頭子老了、倒了。

共產黨人變了、好了。

有誰膽大敢說實話？

老朽詩人傻蛋不怕！

The Japanese Are Coming

The Japanese are coming!

The Communists are coming!

Some people are similarly

trembling and mumbling.

As if the sky will collapse,

all things will be crushed!

As if they’re fire and flood,

all things will be destructed!

Adults cease to laugh.

Children stop to cry.

Dogs howl around the clock.

Ghosts moan throughout the night.

* This is an old poem,

Records the feelings of the time.

Japanese devils first came,

Communists followed their steps.

Japanese were driven away,

Communists succeeded and stayed.

The despotic leader later dies.

Communists become rather nice.

Who dares to tell the truth?

An old poet, foolish and fearless!
