血腥的榮耀 5. 後 紀
Gory Glory 5. After Words You said you led a proletarian revolution, to turn the poor to be rich persons. How many of you great leaders were proletarians? After butchered the bureaucrats and bourgeoisies, you became wealthy, authoritative persons; but left no vacancy and opportunity for those proletarians. After a period of revolting with your revolution, those who are originally poor persons, except a few were luckily turned, remain proletarians. You said the country was such a beauty, it was worth for you the hero to chase. After you won it and got on the throne, you treated it as distiller’s waste. Then posed as a heroic dandy with candy, lured the beauties to be your chasers. Also made the country as a dungeon, forced the blamers to be praisers. Your official title was a common chairman, actually you were an absolute emperor. You enjoyed the same privileges as one, but had even more honor and power. Those officials worshiped all your leaderships. The armed forces obeyed all your orders. People around the country hailed you aloud. You could at will plunder or slaughter! The Japanese fought an invading war to conquer. They killed over ten millions of our people. Their atrocity was beyond compare. The dead died with hate. The live lived with pain. What they killed were not their compatriots. The reason could be understood. The feelings could be contained. You fought a civil war for personal power. You killed over twenty million of people. Your atrocity was beyond imagery! The dead died with wrong. The live lived with misery. All you killed were our own compatriots! How could we appease our feelings? How could we pacify our fury?! Not every one of you communists was bad man. Many of your members were rather good men. You drew them with a drawn cake in front, drove them with sharp whip behind. Anyone if entered your net or bit your bait, could only obey all of your absurd orders, and execute your cruel commands. Robbing and killing were not their fault. They were merely small followers. To the most they were merely accessories or executioners. You were the crimes’ source and starter! You were a criminal drafter and master!!! 08/28/2013 It took me about six decades to write these five poems. The first four were started at the life time of this great man, until he died, enshrined, but not inhumed. The fifth was written individually and recently to summarize all my feelings and comments. Although there was fierce hatred in my heart, I would not take my revenge on him. You can read two stanzas of my poem to remember my father, entitled Forgive and Cultivate Wisdom as the follows: Let’s see Let’s cultivate So you can know that I have already forgiven him, have no intention to collect debts from them. However, Everyone have the right to condemn, both in writing and in speech, of a cruel tyrant or an evil official with extremely bad deeds, as the old saying says,
if you would not sleep on their skin and eat their meat. So to warn the others from committing the same crime. So to uphold justice and safeguard human rights. In addition, be sure do not put the merit of new China’s unprecedented prosperity into this great man’s hands, and put its credit on his head. Except of extreme atrocity, he made the country in extreme poverty. There were starved deaths at many places in the country. There was no overnight food for many homes in their pantry. At the same time, the ‘revolutionized’ old China, cramped on a small island, tried to save her existence. Economy taking off, people enjoying life, became the head of Four Little Dragons of Asia. New China’s pride-worth economic and military strength, were accomplished by those knowledgeable and capable succeeding leaders, together with our awakened and hard working compatriots, silently revolutionized his policy and rebuilt with their effort. I believe there are many men may similarly feel and think as me. My thought is not alone. My heart is not hard. My pen is not pungent. My action is not apat.
