Boss:You know why I asked you to come here to see me right away?

Sales:Well, lets put it this way, the situation will get worse should they fire both of us.

Sales:If they let us go, they know we will jump to our biggest competitor, company X, and our divisions sales will drop 60%, and they will lose all the customers I handle.

Boss:That is exactly why my boss asked me to talk to you first. He suspected you and others will do that, so he is buying comnpany X right now.
