Boss:Good idea, but how do I know it will work?

Mgr:Trust me, I have been in this business for more than 10 years and I know what I am doing.

Boss:But both company X and company Y failed after they adopted the similar approach.

Mgr:The reason is very simple: they dont have a great boss like you.

Boss:That is true, but in the mean time, they dont have a poor manager like you either.

Mgr:We have nothing to lose. If we dont move fast, we will be destroyed by our big competitor soon.

經理：我們退無可退，如果不快些移動，我們很快就會被大型競爭者吃掉的。

Boss:May be, but what if I hire a manager from company X or company Y, and use your approach, will that work?

老闆：也許。但是如果我從X公司或Y公司僱用一個經理，來執行你的策略，結果又將如何呢？

Mgr:It should, but where are you going to put me to?

經理：那應該會成功的，可是您將如何安排我呢？

Boss:A lot of places I can use you, for example, to convince my boss that we will succeed, or, to convince the employees that we will not fire them later.

老闆：我可以在很多地方用你，比方說，要你去說服我的老闆我們會成功，或者去說服員工我們將不會裁員等等。

Mgr:Whatever you say, boss!
