Dear mum and dad,

If you don't know already, in 2 weeks I would have to have decided the subjects I'm doing next year, and handed it in to the school.   Now, I have pretty much decided what subjects and what kind of career path I want to go down, and I would like to know what you think.

For next year, out of 6 subjects we do in total, we are allowed to pick 4, because English and math in composary.   

First up...

Economics & Accounting

When I think about what I want to do when I grow up, I have always thought of something to do with business  (Sorry mum, you can't be a doctor's mum ).   Something down this road will definetly give me a decent pay, besides, I would enjoy it.   And my English would give me an advantage in the field.

Second... well third actually...

Physics

The reason I chose physics was because I thought it was still important for me to keep my options open, and physics will help me do that, and give me an advantage in almost everything I do.

Lastly...

Music

I'm sure there is no need for too much explanation on this one.   You all know I LOVE music, and I can't live without it.   And! The credits available is high!   So it would also give me a boost credits wise.

Well... That's what I think right now, what's your opinion?

親愛的爸, 媽,

擔心你們還不完全清楚, 所以寫這封信告訴你們。 在兩個禮拜內, 我就必須告訴學校, 我明年要選讀的科目。 目前, 我已經有了選擇, 也幾乎決定我要走的道路。  不過, 對於我的選擇, 我很希望知道你們的看法和想法。

明年我們必須讀六個學科, 除了英文與數學是必修, 我們可以自選其他四個科目。

我的第一個選擇 ...

經濟學 會計學

每當我想到長大以後, 自己可能從事的行業, 我想到的都比較偏向買賣商業方面。 (老媽, 很抱歉, 你沒辦法當 "醫師娘" 了 ..   )。   我相信走商也可以有不錯的收入, 而且, 我也比較能樂在其中。 我的英文能力, 對於我從事商業工作, 應該也有幫助。

第二 ... 應該算是第三了 ...

物理學

我明瞭讓自己的路更寬廣, 讓自己可以有不同的選擇, 很重要。    而學習物理, 絕對能幫助我了解更多行業。

最後 ...

音樂

我相信這一科, 不需要太多解釋。 你們都很清楚我熱愛音樂。  音樂已經幾乎像我生命的一個元素。  而且, 它的學分很高, 對於我申請大學的積分, 幫助不小。
