| 1. 天下有道，卻走馬以糞。 當人人都遵循天道時，世上不會再有爭戰，戰馬被放歸到田野，成了耕種和施糞的動力。 When the Word of Heaven prevails in the world, there will be no more wars, warhorses will be returned to fields serving as the power of farming and dunging. 2. 天下無道，戎馬生於郊。 當世人背離天道時，紛爭開始，這時連懷孕的野馬也會被征召上前線打仗。 When the world turns away from the Word of Heaven conflicts start to spread, even pregnant wild horses are sent to front lines for wars. 3. 罪莫大於可欲。 罪惡最大的根源是放縱自己的慾望。 The greatest source of sins is derived from indulging in one’s desires. 4. 禍莫大於不知足。 禍患最大的起因是不懂得知足。 The greatest source of mishaps is incurred from discontentments. 5. 咎莫大於欲得。 人類犯錯誤最大的來源是貪婪欲得。 The greatest source of human mistakes is ascribed to greediness. 6. 故知足之足，常足矣。 唯有真正知足的人，才能永遠活在滿足和平安裏。 Thus, only those who are truly content will live in eternal satisfaction and peace. |
