利与弊

例句：

I think there are pros and cons to every candidate.

2 sick and tired

对某事或者某人感到烦闷或者沮丧

例句：

I am sick and tired of having nobody.

我厌倦了没有人陪伴。

3 Give or Take

大约

类似于approximately的意思

例句：

It’s 100 kilometers, give or take.

大约100公里。

4 Short and Sweet

快而精简无误

例句：

Let’s keep it short and sweet today.

让我们保持今天快速精确。

5 Odds and Ends

一些不重要，没有意义的事情

例句：

A self-employed jobber, he was always building things out of odds and ends.

他是个体手艺人，总是用零星东西做些小玩艺儿。

6 Hustle and Bustle.

熙熙攘攘

例句：

We stayed on the phone to each other for hours and hours until the suns rays shone through the windows, and outside we could both hear the hustle and bustle of daily town life starting up around us.

7 Back and Forth.

反复地；来回地

相信这个大家都不陌生吧！

例句：

8 By and Large

总的来说

和in general大体相似

例句：

Taking it by and large, the conditions of employment are good.

从大体上说来， 就业条件是好的。

9 More or Less

大概，大约

和这篇文章第三点其实意思有点相似，但是这个更偏向于抽象的，也就是情感之类的。而Give or Take则是偏向数量方面。

So far, they are all more or less on track.

例句：

目前来看，他们都或多或少地在按计划行事。
