看到看雲的邀稿，我已遠行，gmail還能通訊，fb似乎不行。看雲穿十九年前大蓬裙，腰身依舊，笑靨不改，摩登奶奶當如是！

回鍋參加英語夏令營和醫療義診（跟五年前同樣的服務），會失聯一陣子；如果等我回來，恐怕日久天長寫不出來了，趁轉機空檔，擠出個回音交差。

「如果....」這題目好，兩個字引出排山倒海的可能性，令我陷入沉思，反而不知如何取材。

我也想到邰肇玫、施碧梧雙合唱的「如果」，另外「if」是麵包樂隊（Bread）的招牌歌，輕柔簡單的慢搖滾，樸實、易上口的歌詞，輕易打動少女情懷，叫人惆悵難忘。Bread琴鍵手David Gates在妻兒入睡後，獨自坐在餐桌前，花了1.5小時填詞譜曲，自認為是畢生最好的作品。我學這首歌時，經人指點才瞭解第二句描述的紅顏禍水是古希臘特洛伊戰爭的海倫。

如果看雲沒邀稿，Robert Frost 的The Road Not Taken（未選之路）大概不會浮上心頭。大ㄧ英文選必背的詩篇。秋天早晨，詩人林中散步，來到岔路口，猶豫不決選那條路，最後決定走那條看似人跡較少的路，卻又感慨若走那未選之路，不知結局如何。

飛機上看電影La La Land，女主角米雅憧憬當演員，男主角熱愛爵士樂，兩人最後分道追尋夢想，五年後意外重逢，米雅幻覺身邊的丈夫變成舊情人，人生里程一幕幕換角出場，男主角強忍心中激動，彈奏起兩人初識時刻、無人問津卻震撼米雅的自創曲，曲終一片靜寂，酒客鼓掌中，兩人無聲對視，淒然苦笑，正是這千載莫名的「如果」，造化弄人的遺憾，造就多采多姿的人生。
