票房鼎盛　

他並配合電影發行自寫自編自製的原聲帶（Paisley Park／Warner Bros.出版）

並與伴奏樂團革命（The Revolution）共同製作（雖然仍由王子主導）

單曲跟電影的成功讓原聲帶封王　蟬聯整整２４週冠軍　至今在美國賣出１３白金　全球兩千多萬張

１９８５年４月　王子與革命樂團乘勝追擊　推出第七張錄音室大碟［Around the World in a Day］
