在台記者一股馬英九媚風中，TVBS 和中廣報導了『CNN 專訪馬英九』
的消息。

我在美國媒體看不到、找不到這則新聞。網路上找不到，CNN 的網站也找不到。

CNN 確實專訪過馬英九，但那似乎是 2003 年的事情

TITLE：Has CNN become a tool of potical propaganda ?

To whom it may concern,

This is a "request for confirmation" on a so-called "CNN interview on Ma Ying-Jeou (Mayor of Taipei, Taiwan)" reported by Taiwan media.

Taipei mayor Ma Ying-Jeou visited USA last week. Taiwan media reported that CNN had an interview with Ma (see [1],[2] below).

We are watching CNN everyday. Actually most of the time we had CNN Headline News running on TV all day long. But we have never heard such an interview with Ma during those days.

A search over the internet and over CNN website found nothing about this interview.

Is it possible that CNN made an interview with Mayor Ma, yet in the entire world only the above mentioned 2 media from Taiwan reported that ?

What concerns us is that those media might have fabricated this news to boost their support of Ma.

Taiwan

media is notorious on fabricating news in order to manipulate people's views in favor of particular political agenda. For decades, this sort of "truth-blinding fabrications" have become the source of social turmoil in Taiwan. If the above-mentioned interview didn't really happen, it would mean that those media have turned CNN into a tool of such a political conspiracy to damage Taiwan.

Therefore, we would like you to confirm if the interview really happen. If not, then we urge CNN to place legal charges against the above media and ask them to deliver a public apology. This kind of legal actions against "news fabrications" will help Taiwan's society tremendously.
