週六不工作的時候， 常喜歡往柏克萊（Berkeley）跑，至 Berkeley Zen Center 打打坐， 打掃打掃腦中雜物、逛逛跳蚤市場（Ashby flea market）挖挖寶、還有一間有機市場－Berkeley Bowl West， 似大賣場的屋頂下， 最吸引人的是成堆成堆的、世界各地奇奇怪怪的蔬菜水果、五穀雜糧， 碰碰聞聞， 週末摩肩接踵， 有點台灣傳統市場的味道。 Be with you Lake of Exploits Beggars and Saint Lake of Exploits Pt. 2 Menoka ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞I frequent Berkeley during weekend. I visit Zen Center and sit hours there, calming the noise in the brain. Afterwards, I would be looking around the Ashby flea market where I always find something exotic and interesting. There is an organic grocery nearby in a huge warehouse, all kinds of exotic foods can be touched here and there. Just smell and look are very rewarding.In this unconventional city, there are unconventional musics. I run into Jai Uttal singing here, and fell for his unique mixture of Indian music, Jazz, Reggae and Rock. His music can be meditating while dancing at the same time.
