When you arrive on time and promptly begin class, your students understand that the class time is precious, that there’s much to do and a limited amount of time in which to do it. Then when you call them to account for showing up late, you have a leg to stand on. Every minute they miss is meaningful time. For both your own sake and the sake of your students, keeping the material that you teach fresh and up-to-date is vital. |
