昨天下午回到家中。 為了節省一些時間和金錢用在孩子們的身上，咱們倆老這次沒日沒夜地開去兩天，開回兩天，中間又跨州開了一天。 不但沒住旅館，連休息站也沒敢多停留。 看來比去年還勇猛！ 總共三千兩百多哩的來回路程。 回到家時，從車內爬出，我一歪一歪、像個跛子，我的老伴兒一拐一拐、像個瘸子。:) 嘿！別看這張高山動物園的照片裏、我笑得那麼甜； 那天下山時，我已完全不行，是咱們兒子背著我一路下山的！ 卻有好文一篇、正在我腹中醞釀。 敬請耐心等候。 拙文面世之前，我會陸續貼出一些照片給您欣賞。 We just got home yesterday in the afternoon. In order to save some time and some money to spend on our beloved ones, we had been driving day and night, never spent a night in any motel, not even stayed long enough at any of the rest areas. It seemed that we were even more valorously than last year. There were in total three thousand and two hundred plus miles. When we got home, there came out from our dusted rental SUV a cripple and a gimp. :) But, we did have a great, great time together in spite of my severe ankle pain. (My son even had to carry me in the zoo when we walked down to the foothill at the end of that day.) Now I have got an excellent article in my gut, it will be posted sometime in the near future. Before then, enjoy the pictures which I will post little by little! |
