終於開始放春假, 這一星期的休息讓我覺得好幸福, 聽我最喜歡的音樂,懶散地坐在沙發上看看書,又可以去爬山,想想心事,這樣輕鬆的日子已經好久沒享受了,今天重新欣賞一些演唱會的實況,聽了一天的音樂,有時被美麗的歌聲覺好感動,看看歌詞,寫得真好.我喜歡Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel 的音樂. 他們是70年代美國出名的歌手,他們許多膾炙人口的音樂,歌詞中總表現出獨有的音樂才華,這兩位來自紐約皇后區的歌手,從1953開始就同讀一樣的小學,兩人的家只有幾條巷子的距離. 高中時又是同班同學. 他們重新相遇是於Simon 畢業於皇后學院,而Garfunkel 則放棄在 Brooklyn Law School繼續就學機會. 他們的第一張專輯是於1964年10月19日發行. 專輯名稱是 “Wednesday Morning 3 AM”, 從1968至2003陸續得過四次葛萊美獎,他們動人的歌曲如 “The Sounds of Silence”, “Homeward Bound”, “I Am a Rock”, “ The Dangling Conversation”, “The Hazy Shade of Winter”, “At the Zoo”, “Mrs. Robinson”, “ The Boxer” , “ Bridge over Troubled Water”, “Ceilia”, “ El Condor Pasa”, “My Little Town”, “Wake Up Little Susie”.
