We invented a mountain. 
我們創造了金山銀山
We superfluous needs. 
伴隨無止盡的需求
You have to keep buying, throwing away... 
必需不斷購買，不斷丟棄...
It's our lives we are squandering.
揮霍的是我們的人生
When I buy something,
每當我買東西
or when you buy it,
亦或是當你買東西
we're not paying with money.
我們花的不是金錢
We're paying with the time from our lives
而是我們生命中寶貴的時間
we had to spend to earn that money.
因為每次的消費都要花更多時間來賺取消費所需的金錢
The difference is
唯一不同的是
that you can't buy life.
你的生命卻是用什麼也買不到的
Life just goes by.
生命就這樣流逝掉了
And it's terrible
最糟糕的是
to waste your life,
你浪費了自己的生命
losing your freedom.
更失去了自由
