Like one of his poem “The World Is Too Much with Us” says: I'd rather be A Pagan suckled in a creed outworn So might I, standing on this pleasant lea Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea; Or hear old Triton blow his wreathed horn. Nature is the main theme of Wordsworth’s literature thinking, and in his another poem “The Table Turned” is directly presents the anti-intellectualism and primitivism thinking: UP! up! my Friend, and quit your books; Or surely you’ll grow double: Up! up! my Friend, and clear your looks; Why all this toil and trouble?
