This is Holmgren, our proud USC alumni. --- So many people make fun of USC, University of Stupid Chinese???Do you know moon-walker Neil Armstrong also went to USC. 臺灣人有以偏蓋全的毛病. 南加大, 即使易進, 但難出, 且有眾多優秀校友.

His wife of 34 years, Kathy is traveling to Democratic Republic of Congo, to work as a nurse,at an aid mission with Dr. Calla, one of Holmgren's daughters.  --- Some things are more important than football...  美國很多名人的夫人, 真是親身投入慈善工作, 不是出錢, 出嘴罷了.  十分令人感動!

During the recruiting, he was told that USC would focus on pass over run.   Holmgren was injured in his sophomore year, and that year, USC enrolled an Junior College transfer, whose name is O. J. Simpson  That move ended Holmgren's stage at college level..........  In 1971, Holmgren went back to San Francisco and coached high school football team, and taught..... "History".  --- How many coaches in Taiwan can coach history?  I once dreamed to be the only coach in Taiwan to teach Physics, or even better Relativity... 一個球員的生涯, 有太多變數. 一技之長太重要. 美國的運動員, 許多是多才多藝的.   P.S.  沒錯O. J. Simpson  就是那個殺妻案的嫌疑犯

Coaches are also people...  運動員教練都是人, 不該被特殊定位.  太多人小看運動員, 他們真不只是 "頭腦簡單, 四肢發達地"
