喬治麥可高速公路車禍　幸無大礙

今年49歲的英國知名歌手喬治麥可(George Michael)，台灣時間今天(17日)清晨約1時50分(英國時間周四下午5時50分)，在英國赫茲(Herts)的公路上發生車禍，當時因為接近下班尖峰時間，現場大塞車，車籠蔓延數公里。

發言人表示，「喬治麥可當時原本也塞在車震中」，僅受到如擦傷等的皮肉傷，並無大礙。喬治麥可近年來有些流年不利，去年才因為感染嚴重的肺癌，被迫取消了部份全球巡迴演唱會。

George Michael Car Crash: Star Flown To Hospital

The singer suffers head injuries and is taken to hospital by air ambulance after a car he was travelling in crashed on the M1.

George Michael has been airlifted to hospital after a rush-hour crash on the M1 motorway.

The singer was a passenger in a car which crashed at 5.47pm on Thursday, and he suffered cuts and bruises.

Three ambulances, as well as the Hertfordshire air ambulance, were called to the incident near the junction for the M25.

A spokesman for the 49-year-old entertainer said: "George Michael was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic accident on Thursday evening, no third party was involved.

"He is being treated for superficial cuts and bruises but is fine. We have no further comment at this time."

Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "A man who we believe to be in his 40s sustained a head injury and following treatment, stabilisation and immobilisation by land and air ambulance crews, he was flown to hospital for further care."

The singer was the only person that was treated for injuries.
