Sally從小就漂亮，出生不到一個月，就從一個皺巴巴的醜小鴨，變成一個五官分明的洋娃娃。我常常倚在她的床邊，出神的望著熟睡的女兒，一看就是半小時。
有人說女兒是父親前世的情人，我深信不疑；只是隨著Sally日漸長大，我的看法開始有了修正，這個情人，可能只是單戀，我的單戀。
女兒很小就有主見。在她還是baby的時候，我們叫她Lily，因為希望她像朵百荷。可是這名字用不到兩年，她上了幼稚園就自己改名叫Sally，她說她想當小公主（Sally原意公主）。
等到她學會用msn，每天高興就找我聊天，只要我叫她寫功課，她立即顯示「忙碌」，雖然我知道她不是在玩線上遊戲，就是在和同學打屁。現在更厲害，她和我同事聊天的時間比我還多，暱稱還寫著「我和爸爸同事很合得來ㄋㄟ」。
記得自己念小學時，暗戀班上一位女同學，到畢業也不敢說出口，這段兒時單戀自然無疾而終。Sally就敢在msn暱稱上公開說喜歡班上的XXX，勇敢說出來，青春無悔。
女兒永遠是別人的情人，我認了。老爸自歎弗如，才小學四年級ㄋㄟ！
最近讀王剛（「月亮背面」長篇，「天下無賊」編劇）新作「英格力士」，裡面一句話令我驚駭莫名又鞭辟入裏：女孩們真怪，她們從小就很複雜，其實她們就沒有真正小過。
這心情，我也有了。

附記：
Sally在學校的合唱團正在練〔屋上的提琴手〕Sunrise,sunset這首歌，裡面的歌詞，正好就是我們這些老爸的心情。
