First of all, it relieves the tension from our busy life. Second, it often magically changes our mood when we are depressed. And most of all, it helps us to stay mentally and physically healthy. According to some doctors’ advices, laughing will help us to stay young and healthy. Statistics also shows that the more people laugh the longer they will live. Laughting is indeed an amazing element which dramatically contributes to the health of people’s mind as well as their body. Last week, when I was so depressed because of the bad grades of an important exam., one of my friends told me a very funny joke that made me burst into laughter. That joke was really a great relief for me and it helped me regain the strength and confidence for later tests. Living in busy and stressful life, maybe we should all learn to appreciate the art of listening to and telling jokes. The president of a famous company once told his employees in his lecture that a successful person should always be ready to tell at least three jokes. If laughter is the best medicine, then learning to enjoy jokes and develop a sense of great humor might be the best way which leads us to have more laughter. |
