A daily allowance paid by the company to salespeople or employees who are traveling in connection with their job. per diem 是拉丁文,意思是 per day 或 each day,指的是公司付給因公出差的業務員或員工的每日零用錢(daily allowance)。
A: My old boss was so cheap, and he didn’t even give us a per diem while we were traveling for work. B: You mean you had to pay for all of your own meals and expenses? A: Yes. We even had to pay if we took a customer to dinner. B: That is terrible. This is a much better company to work for.
A:對啊。
