本來打算接公公回家照顧﹐聯絡好Home Care Agency（居家照顧公司）, 把病床﹐床墊﹐氧氣筒﹐餵食機﹐各樣管子﹐藥物都送到家﹐準備得也差不多了。 我們原來吃飯的飯廳﹐放了病床﹐成了病房。 家庭間多擺餐桌椅, 變得擁擠些。
誰知在十天前(長週末的星期六) 清早六點多, 接到醫院來電﹐說他老人家在早上四點多﹐因為氧氣指數過低﹐已經接上了輔助呼吸的機器幫助他呼吸。 原來是因肺內積痰太多. 之前因他吐得厲害, 所以護士們都不敢替他抽痰﹐怕他吐。 現在換了藥﹐已經不吐了﹐目前情況也還穩定, 但要等肺科醫生同意他可以拿掉呼吸輔助器﹐才能回家。
Home Care 公司知道公公沒回家後﹐打電話來說需要先拿搬回病床和所有器具, 等公公確定要回家再送來。 昨天﹐他們來搬走了病床等。 餐桌椅再次歸位﹐家庭間突然空出一片地板來。
“小姐﹐我可以請你跳支舞嗎﹖” 老公突然站在我面前鞠躬作揖。
“當然啦~”掩不住心底的歡喜﹐馬上起立﹐從電腦裡挑個我們都熟悉的曲子﹐相擁而舞。 他又示範了一些以前舞會時男生的怪招﹐逗得我哈哈大笑。 覺得好久沒這樣開懷的大笑了... 音樂繼續流轉﹐ 倚靠在他的胸前﹐仿彿回到從前, 一股幸福湧上心頭。
