致中時部落格的作者:談「先審視才露出's policy)

On Oct 14, 2007 in the early morning, I lost sleep.
I had thinking about the right or wrong on 中時部落格的
先審視才露出's policy, a software provided
by 中時部落格.

When I visited Prof. Chang's blog and intended to respond what he
wrote about Taiwan Presidential Election. I saw there is an alert
wording 本篇文章留言，需由部落格作者「先審視，才露出」。I
was feeling very much offended. I will explain why. 

中時部落格 provides 部落格作者「先審視，才露出 software to
block the unwanted responses which constitutes the CENSOR SHIP
to reader as whole. Not only this, it also display a tool of DISCRIMINATION.
Based on
Article 2.
of Human right"Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms
set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind,
such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other
opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other
status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis
of the political, jurisdictional or international status of
the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it
be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other
limitation of sovereignty."
Prof. Chang knows that his act is in violation of this article. If I were  Prof.
Chang I would not allow my self falling in this trap of breaking the law of
Human right.

中時部落格 provides the window for each 作者 to pre-screen
the unwanted responses. You can do it by deleting the unwanted responses.
But by putting a sign saying:本篇文章留言，需由部落格作者「先審視，
才露出」is clearly violating the reader's right of 文章留言.

Remember that not all 部落格作者 write the healthy stuff in 中時部落格.
It is in the frame work based on spirit of 'FREEDOM OF
SPEECH'.Suppose one of the 部落格作者 write something
unhealthy and offending the parents of teenager or younger with their
articles, which in the U.S. is violating the law. That is why in America there
is a law governing TV producers to classify the TV.
In addition, 部落格作者, at his/her discretion has the right to write whatever
he/she wants to express. The 部落格作者consider it right idea but reader
has different opinion. That is one way communication. One man's delicacy
could be another man's poison. In another words, when I read your article
your expression is absorbed like sponge in my mind and I can not erase
it easily. It could be same as polluting some one's mind and poisoning
some one's brain. In that sense, I think it is only fair that both pro and con
responses be allowed to post on blogger's responding window excluding
those malicious attacks.

I am running a commercial business. When guest check-in, we make it known
with remark:"This property is privately owned and operated . Manager reserves
the right to refuse services to anyone." That is when a guest is accepted and
behavior later on not allowed in this property we have the right to expel the
guest. I think that applies blogging too. That is why 部落格作者has
the right to delete the unwanted responses. I do not like 民進黨.
But I can not put up a sign saying :
"民進黨 陳嘴扁！& Dogs are  prohibited entering this
property!" That is a discrimination by law.
We have  to follow the rules of law.
中時部落格 作者, It is only fair that 中時部落格總編輯郭至楨
demand that all 中時部落格 作者 's article be 「先審視，
才露出」then 中時部落格 作者 has right to demand all other
blogger's responses

Otherwise the above demand by any 部落格作者「先審視，才露出」
sounds unfair prejudicial and discriminating.

Either 部落格作者 closing window or deleting their responses at 部落格作者
disposal are the right way in 部落格 circumstance.
"本篇文章留言，需由部落格作者「先審視，才露出」is definitely
improper unfair legally unpractical. 
American House of Representative had hearing on the subject toward the
the big 4 high-tech companies like Google Yahoo Cisco and Microsoft
and they were accused of cooperating with China on their role of Censoring
on the freedom of blogging in the Internet.
 Please be extremely careful driving at dead spot.
I know most of you have been victimized and annoyed by some blogging
abuser. It does not pay to break the law yourself.

I would not break the law under any circumstance
